Ore Premium Cigars

Over the past two years I've had the privilege of developing the Ore Premium Cigars brand from the ground up.  I was originally commissioned by Mr. Ore to develop a logo for his cigar company using a boar as the mascot & main symbol for the logo, which closely ties in to the spelling & sound of "ORE" cigars.  The vision for the brand was to be high-end, luxurious, with symbolism as a tribute the Ore lineage.  I was asked to incorporate elements from the Ore family crest.  Both the outer shape of the shield and the inner cross pattern were both design elements taken from the family crest.

Product Designs
After the initial logo was finalized, we created a cigar band design using the logo and the same elements from the family crest.  From there the branding projects branched out into various illustrations & product designs.  Examples of this work can be found below and include product designs such as: graphics for humidors, cigar cutters, matchboxes,  apparel, & more.

Mockups
Various mock-ups were produced to help the client visualize the many uses for his logo & other commissioned designs.  Advertising mockups made use of desaturated, black & white, or sepia tone photography to achieve a high-end luxury brand aesthetic that I felt nicely complimented the Ore Cigar designs.

Logo Simplification & Breakdown
Many of the product designs & mock-ups contain a simplified version of the original logo.  The initial logo is very detailed and illustrative which needed to be simplified for printing & production on specific products such as for embossing with leather or suede, embroidery, & printing on very small products.
